70% of the units in the building are reserved for performing artists who live in NYC. The "artist" definition is a broad one, including performing artists, musicians and even stagehands and other entertainment-industry support staff. To qualify for artist housing, the head of each household must earn at least 50 percent of their income over the past three years in the entertainment industry.

 

Additionally, 20% of the units are reserved for homeless households referred by NYC, 10% of the households are reserved for elderly 62+, and 5% of the households are reserved for non-elderly.
